Billing & Subscription
Everything about what you pay, when you pay it, and what happens if you stop.
What this covers
Plans and prices, the 14-day trial, how to subscribe and change plan, every add-on and what it costs, VAT, what happens when a payment fails, and how cancelling works.
All prices on this page exclude VAT. See VAT for how tax is added.
Everything billing-related lives in one place: Settings → Billing for your plan, Settings → Add-ons for everything you buy on top.

There is no free plan. Every account starts with a 14-day trial and needs a subscription after that.
Every monitor type is available on every plan — website, browser, API flow, ping, port, DNS, domain and cron-job monitors. Plans differ in how many monitors you can run and how long your data is kept, not in which kinds you may create.
Yearly billing
Paying yearly costs the equivalent of 10 months — about 17% off. Pick Monthly or Yearly on the plan cards before you check out.
Your add-ons follow your plan's billing period: on a yearly plan, add-ons are billed yearly too. This is a Stripe constraint — one subscription cannot mix monthly and yearly items.
The 14-day trial
Every new account gets 14 days of full access with no card required. Nothing is limited during the trial: you can create monitors, set up alerts, invite your team, and use your free browser monitor.
Around day 10 and day 12 we email you a reminder that it is ending.
What happens when the trial ends
| Day | What happens |
|---|---|
| 14 | The trial expires. Your monitors keep running. |
| 14–21 | A 7-day grace period. Everything still works. The banner in the app shows the date your monitors will stop. |
| 19 | We email you a warning, two days before the stop. |
| 21 | All monitors are paused. Checks stop, alerts stop. Nothing is deleted. |
After the pause, your data is kept for 90 days. Subscribe at any point in that window and everything comes back. See If your account lapses.
Subscribing during the trial
Choosing a plan charges your card straight away and starts your billing period that day. It also ends the trial there and then.
So if you subscribe on day 2 of your trial, you pay for a full month on day 2 and the remaining 12 trial days are gone. If you want the full trial, subscribe near the end of it — your monitors keep running through the grace period either way, so there is no gap and no rush.
Subscribing
- Go to Settings → Billing.
- Pick a plan under Compare Plans, and choose Monthly or Yearly.
- You are sent to Stripe's secure checkout. Enori never sees your card details.
- Enter your card, and your VAT number if you have one (see VAT).
- You come straight back to Enori and your plan is live.
If your monitors were paused, they start again automatically.
Changing plan
Use Manage Billing in Settings → Billing. That opens Stripe's billing portal, which is where subscription changes and payment details are handled.
If you already have a subscription and click a plan on Compare Plans, Enori sends you to the same portal rather than starting a second subscription — you cannot accidentally end up paying twice.
Upgrading
Takes effect immediately. Stripe prorates: you are charged the difference for the days left in the current period, and the new full price from the next one.
Downgrading
Takes effect immediately too, and the new limits apply straight away — but your existing monitors are not switched off on the spot.
If you have more active monitors than the new plan allows:
- We email you and show a Choose Monitors to Keep panel in Settings → Billing.
- You have 7 days to pick which ones stay running. Tick the ones you want and confirm.
- If you do nothing, after 7 days we keep your oldest monitors and pause the rest.
We keep the oldest, not the newest. The oldest monitor is the one carrying your history — check results, SLO windows, incidents, alert rules, status-page components. If your newest monitors are the ones that matter, choose them yourself within the 7 days.
Paused monitors are never deleted. Their configuration and history stay. Upgrade again, or pause something else, and you can resume them.
Monitors you pay for separately are not touched. A paid browser monitor has its own line item on your invoice, so switching it off would mean charging you for something that is not running. It keeps going even if that puts you slightly over your plan's monitor count. Your free browser monitor has no separate charge, so it is treated like any other monitor.
Add-ons
Everything here is bought from Settings → Add-ons and added to your existing subscription — one subscription, one invoice.
Mid-period changes are prorated and added to your next invoice. Nothing extra is charged at the moment you click. Before you confirm a purchase, Enori shows you the exact prorated amount Stripe calculated.
| Add-on | Price | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Extra monitors | €0.50/month each | Raises your monitor limit without changing plan |
Paused monitors still count toward your limit. A monitor occupies one of your slots from the moment you create it until you delete it — pausing stops the checks, not the slot. That is the same rule every plan on the market uses, and it is why "10 monitors" means ten you have configured, not ten running right now. If you hit the limit while some are paused, delete the ones you no longer need or add extra monitor slots.
Extra monitors — €0.50/month each
Adds monitor slots to whatever plan you are on. Buy up to 500 extra self-service; contact us for more.
Removing slots can put you over your limit. If it does, the 7-day downgrade flow starts — you choose what to keep, and nothing is paused before then.
30-second checks — €3.00/month
Lets your monitors check every 30 seconds instead of 60. It applies to your whole account, and you then set the interval per monitor.
Removing it moves any 30-second monitor back to 60 seconds. We tell you how many were changed.
Browser monitors — €2.99 to €9.99/month each
Browser monitors run a real browser through a scripted journey. Available on every plan.
Your first browser monitor is free, permanently — fixed at a 30-minute check interval. It is not a trial and it does not expire.
Additional browser monitors are priced individually by interval:
| Interval | Price |
|---|---|
| 30 minutes | €2.99/month |
| 15 minutes | €4.99/month |
| 10 minutes | €5.99/month |
| 5 minutes | €9.99/month |
You buy one by creating it — pick the interval, see the price, confirm. There is no separate slot to purchase first.
Changing a browser monitor's interval changes its price. You see the exact prorated amount before confirming. You can also change several at once from the monitors list. If you upgrade the free monitor to a faster interval it becomes a paid monitor and stays paid — the free slot is a one-time benefit at creation.
Deleting a paid browser monitor cancels its charge and credits the unused days to your next invoice.
Distributed traces — free, €5 or €15/month
| Tier | Price | Spans per day | Trace retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | included | 25,000 | 7 days |
| Plus | €5/month | 200,000 | 14 days |
| Scale | €15/month | 750,000 | 30 days |
Change tier from Settings → Add-ons → Distributed Traces → Manage. Downgrading keeps your already-stored traces for a short protected window so nothing disappears the moment you switch.
SMS alert packs — €5, €12 or €25 one-time
Pro and Business include SMS alerts each month (15 and 30). When those run out — or on Base, which includes none — you can buy a prepaid pack.
| Pack | Price | SMS |
|---|---|---|
| Small | €5 | 40 |
| Medium | €12 | 100 |
| Large | €25 | 220 |
Packs are a one-time charge, not a subscription. They never expire and do not auto-renew. Your monthly allowance is always used first.
A separate safety limit caps SMS at 25 per day per account, so one bad night cannot drain a pack.
Buy packs while your account is active. A paused account sends no alerts at all, so credit bought then sits unused until you subscribe again. It is not lost — but it is not doing anything either.
VAT
Every price in Enori excludes VAT. Tax is calculated by Stripe at checkout, based on where you are.
| You are | What you pay |
|---|---|
| A business in the EU outside Bulgaria, with a valid VAT number | No VAT — reverse charge applies. Enter your VAT number at checkout |
| A business in Bulgaria | 20% Bulgarian VAT. This is a domestic supply, so reverse charge does not apply |
| A consumer in the EU | VAT at your country's rate |
| Outside the EU | Handled by Stripe according to your location |
Enter your VAT number in the checkout form. If you miss it, add it in the billing portal via Manage Billing — later invoices will reflect it.
Enori is operated by Enori EOOD, registered in Bulgaria.
When a payment fails
Cards expire and banks decline things. Nothing dramatic happens immediately.
| Day | What happens |
|---|---|
| 0 | Payment fails. We email you and your account is marked Past due. Monitors keep running. Stripe retries automatically. |
| 0–7 | Grace period. Everything works. The banner shows the date your monitors will stop. |
| 5 | We email a warning, two days before the stop. |
| 7 | Monitors are paused. |
Fixing it at any point brings everything back. Update your card via Manage Billing. Once the payment goes through, your monitors resume and we email you to confirm.
If you had already downgraded before the payment failed, we resume up to what your current plan allows — recovery restores what you pay for, not what you had before.
Cancelling
Cancel from the Stripe billing portal — Settings → Billing → Manage Billing. There is no cancel button inside Enori itself.
What cancelling does
- Your subscription is marked Cancelling, and everything keeps running until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- At the end of that period, all monitors pause. Checks stop, alerts stop.
- Stripe stops billing you. No further charges.
- Nothing is deleted at that point. See If your account lapses.
You can change your mind before the period ends — Reactivate appears in the banner.
Refunds
We do not give refunds. You can cancel whenever you like, but the month (or year) you have already paid for is not refunded — the service runs to the end of that period and then does not renew.
Because of that, if you are unsure, use the trial. It is 14 days, needs no card, and has no limits.
If your account lapses
Whether you cancelled, let the trial run out, or a payment never recovered, the outcome is the same: monitors are paused and a 90-day clock starts.
| When | What happens |
|---|---|
| Day 0 | Monitors paused. You can still sign in. Your data is untouched. |
| Day 0–90 | You can reach Settings and subscribe again at any time. The rest of the dashboard is blocked. |
| Day 80 | We email you that deletion is coming. |
| Day 90 | Your account and all monitoring data are permanently deleted. |
Subscribing at any point in those 90 days cancels the deletion and brings everything back. The exact date is shown in the app.
What comes back when you resubscribe
- Regular monitors resume automatically.
- Your free browser monitor resumes automatically.
- Paid browser monitors do not. Their Stripe line items went away with the old subscription, so each one has to be re-enabled individually from its monitor page — and each re-enable starts its charge again. If you have several, expect to do them one at a time.
Deleting your account yourself
Settings → Security → Delete account is different from cancelling. It is immediate and permanent — there is no waiting period, no recovery window, and no confirmation email. Your data is erased and your subscription is cancelled in the same action.
If you only want to stop paying, cancel instead.
FAQ
Is there a free plan?
No. There is a 14-day trial with no card required, then a paid plan.
Are the prices with or without VAT?
Without. VAT is added at checkout based on your country. See VAT.
Extra monitors or a bigger plan — which is cheaper?
Extra monitors cost €0.50/month each, so 10 extra slots is €5.00/month. Going Base → Pro is €9.00/month more and gives you 40 extra monitors plus longer retention, more status pages, more team members, included SMS and scheduled reports. Below about 18 extra monitors, add-ons are cheaper; above that, upgrade.
Does the 30-second add-on speed up all my monitors?
It makes 30 seconds available. You still set the interval on each monitor.
Do browser monitors count against my plan's monitor limit?
Yes. A browser monitor is a monitor, so it uses a slot — and if it is a paid one, it is also billed separately.
My first browser monitor is free — can I make it check more often?
Yes, but it becomes a paid monitor at that interval's price and stays paid. The free slot is a benefit at creation, not a permanent discount.
Do SMS packs expire?
No. They do not expire and do not auto-renew.
If my monitors are paused, am I still charged?
If you cancelled, no — billing stops at the end of the paid period.
One exception: if you pause a paid browser monitor yourself, its charge continues, because pausing is meant to be temporary and re-enabling reuses the same line item rather than charging you afresh. If you want the charge to stop, delete the monitor instead.
Where are my invoices?
In the Stripe billing portal — Settings → Billing → Manage Billing. For anything the portal does not answer, use the Billing or invoice questions? Contact us link on the Billing tab.
Can I get an invoice with my company VAT number on it?
Yes — enter it at checkout, or add it later in the billing portal. Invoices issued after that will carry it.
Troubleshooting
"You already have an active subscription" when picking a plan. You are already subscribed. Use Manage Billing to change plan. Enori normally redirects you there automatically.
"No billing account yet" when clicking Manage Billing. You are still on the trial and have not paid for anything yet, so there is no billing account to open. Choose a plan first.
"This add-on isn't available on annual billing yet." Annual pricing for that add-on is still being set up. Contact us and we will sort it out.
"Another add-on change is already in progress." Two changes were submitted at once. Wait a few seconds and retry.
"Monitor limit reached" when resuming a monitor. Resuming counts against your plan like creating does. Pause something else, buy extra monitor slots, or upgrade.
A paid browser monitor is paused after resubscribing. Expected — see What comes back when you resubscribe. Re-enable it from its monitor page.
The charge on my invoice is not what the app quoted. Amounts shown in the app before you confirm are excluding VAT. Your invoice includes it.
